General Notes

Michael Hulett was born in 1679 probably in Boston or Newton, MA.  Michael and Experience lived in Newton until 1709 when they moved to Killingly, CT.  He was admitted to the Killingly Church on Dec. 15, 1717.  Michael died prior to Experience who died in February of 1774, Killingly, CT
While the parentage of Experience is not proven, she could be the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Larkin) of Marlborough due to the fact that no other Experience Newton of the right age is known to have been living in the area.  Ancestral File gives John Newton, Jr and Hannah Morse as her parents.  John and Hannah were married on June 19, 1690, and have no known daughters named Experience born prior to 1700.   The Experience listed in the Ancestral File has a birthdate of May 1, 1683 (Hannah would have been 9 years old at the time...) and actually is the daughter of John Newton, Sr. and Elizabeth Larkin.
There is confusion with the children of Michael.  1) Michael, Jr. could be merely a mistake caused by Michael, Sr being baptized as an adult.  This Michael, if he existed, he was bapized on the same day that Michael, Sr. was admitted to the Killingly Church an must have died young as there is no further record; 2) Daniel/David -- These two are confused.  I am working under the assumption that there were two Daniel Huletts and that the David was an error in the records.  If this was David, he must have died young and the first Daniel must have been the one who married Abigail Kingsbury.; 3) Nathaniel/Nehemiah --  Some records refer to the Nathaniel who married Susannah as Nehemiah.

Ancestral file gives Michael's birthdate as December 15, 1679, Killingly, CT.  There is no source given.  While the date could be correct, the place can't be correct.  Michael was baptized in Killingly as an adult; hence the probable confusion as to place of birth. (WCS)
