Jane Hathorne

Jane was born about 1526 in of Bray, Berks., Engl.. Jane's father was Thomas Hawthorne and her mother was Joan Chambers. Her paternal grandfather was Robert Hathorne; her maternal grandfather was Robert Chambers. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, James, Robert, John, William, Henry, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
