William HERBERT

William was born about 1405 in Raglan Castle, Monmouthshire, England and his baptism took place in Godwin.  William's mother was Gwladus Verch DAFYDD"gam". He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Margred and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died on July 27th, 1469 in Banbury, Northamptonshire, England.  He was buried in Tintern Abbey, Chapel Hill, Monmouthshire, England.
