Elinor Verch Gwerystan

Elinor Verch was born about 0980 in Powys, Wales.  Elinor Verch's father was Baron Powys Gwerystan Ap Gwaithfoed Baron Powys and her mother was Nest Verch Cadell.  Her paternal grandparents were Lord Of Powys Gwaithfoed "Fawr" Ap Gwynnan Lord Of Powys and Morfudd Verch Ynyr; her maternal grandparents were Cadell Ap Brochwel and Mrs Cadell Ap Brochwel. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Ithel Ap, Cynfyn Ap, Miss Verch, Nest Verch and Lleuki Verch.  She was the third oldest of the six children.

They had a son named Tewdwr "Mawr-The Great" Ap.
