Walter Giffard , Lord of Boyton 
Walter was born about 1175 in Boyton, Warminster, Wiltshire, England. Walter's father was Elias III Giffard , Lord of Brimpsfield and his mother was Maud de Berkeley. He had two brothers named Elias IV and Osbert (Osbern) II. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1226.
