William De Furnival IV Baron Furnival 
William De Furnival IV Baron was born on August 23rd, 1326 in Alton, Staffordshire, England. William De Furnival IV Baron's father was Thomas De Furnival Baron Furnival and his mother was Elizabeth De Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Gerard De Furnival Lord Hallamshire and Maud FitzJohn; his maternal grandparents were Peter Lord Montford of Beaudefort and Maud De La Warr. He had a sister named Joan. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William Montacute III Baron, Alice and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 56 on April 12th, 1383.General Notes
William, the younger son, 4th Baron Furnival, who was summoned to Parliament from 20 January, 1366, to 7 January, 1383. This nobleman permitted the pale of his park at Worksop to be so defective that divers of the King's deer, out of the forest of Sherwood, came freely into it, and were destroyed. In consequence of which William de Latimer, warden of the forests beyond Trent, seized the park for the King; but it was soon released and Lord Furnival pardoned, upon payment of a fine of รบ20. His lordship married Thomasin, daughter and heiress of Thomas Dagworth, in whose right he acquired the manor of Dagworth, County Suffolk. By her he had an only child, Joan.
