Christine was born about 1187 in Woodham Walter, Malden, Essex, England.  Christine's father was Robert FitzWalter , Lord of Dunmow Castle, MCS and her mother was Gunnora de Valognes. She had a sister named Maud.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother named Walter.  She died before June 17th, 1232 in Shouldham Priory, Downham, Norfolk, England.
