Walter FitzWalter, in the 24th of Henry III [1240], paid into the exchequer a fine of 300 marks for livery of his lands, and in the 42nd of the same king had a military summons to march against the Welsh, and d. 1249, leaving by Maud, his 1st wife, a son and heir, Sir Robert FitzWalter.
