William Field 
William was born about 1597 in Thurnscoe, Yorkshire, England. William's father was William Field and his mother was Jane Sotwell. His paternal grandparents were John Field and Jane Amyas. He had three brothers named Thomas, James and John. He was the oldest of the four children. He died in June 1665 in Providence, Providence Co, RI.General Notes
