Eleanor de Ferrers 
Eleanor de was born about 1232 in Derby, Derbyshire, England. Eleanor de's father was William III de Ferrers , 5th Earl of Derby and her mother was Sibyl Marshal. Her paternal grandparents were William II de Ferrers , 4th Earl of Derby and Agnes of Chester , Lady of Chartley; her maternal grandparents were William Marshal , 4th Earl of Pembroke and Isabel de Clare , Countess of Pembroke. She had four sisters named Isabel de, Agnes de, Maud (Matilda) de and Joan de. She was the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert de, William IV, Elizabeth de, Joan de, Agnes de and Berta de. She died before October 26th, 1274 in Leeds Priory, Kent, England.General Notes
He [Roger de Leyburn] married, 2ndly, before September 1267, Eleanor, widow, 1stly, of William DE VAUX and, 2ndly, of Roger (DE QUINCY), EARL OF WINCHESTER, and daughter of William (DE FERRERS), EARL OF DERBY, by his 1st wife, Sybil, 3rd daughter and coheir of William (MARSHAL), EARL OF PEMBROKE, sister of Walter, 8th Earl of Pembroke. He died circa October 1271, being still alive in the middle of that month. Dower was assigned to his widow 2 November. She died before 26 October 1274, and was buried at Leeds Priory.
