Maud de was born about 1200 in Bromley, Surrey, England. Maud de's father was Ralph de Fay and her mother was Beatrice de Turnham. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Fay and Adelaide (Adele) d' Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Stephen de Turnham , of Artington & Berwick and Edeline de Broc , Heiress of Artington. She was an only child. She died in 1249.-
