Matilda Princess of was born in 1156 in London, Middlesex, England and her baptism took place in Aldgate, London, Middlesex, England.  Matilda Princess of's father was King Henry II Plantagenet of England and her mother was Queen Eleanore Princess of Aquitaine.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and Empress of England Matilda; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume X Duke Aquitaine and Duchess Eleanor de Chatellerault. She had nine brothers and six sisters, named William, William Prince of, Henry Prince of, Richard I, Geoffrey Prince of, Geoffrey, Philip Prince of, John "Lackland", Henry, Matilda, Eleanor, Eleanor of, Eleanor, Joanna Princess of and Joan. She had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Richard I "Coeur, John "Lackland" King, William, William of Salisbury, Peter Arch Deacon, Morgan Provost of, Geoffrey, Joanna Princess of, Marie of, Marie Princess of, Alix Princess of and Margaret Of.  She died at the age of 33 on June 28th, 1189 in Brunswick, Germany.  She was buried in St Blasius, Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany.
