Otto I "The Great" Holy Roman was born on November 23rd, 0912 in Saxony, Germany.  Otto I "The Great" Holy Roman's father was Henry I "The Fowler" Saxony Holy Roman Emperor and his mother was Mathilda of Ringleheim.  His paternal grandparents were Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of Saxony and Hedwig Princess of Germany; his maternal grandparents were Theodoric I Count of Ringleheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis. He had a brother and two sisters, named Heinrich I Duke of, Hedwige of and Gerberga of.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 60 on May 7th, 0973 in Memleben, Saxony, Germany.
