Mary Anne was born on September 16th, 1753 in Readington Township Hunterdon Co. New Jersey. Mary Anne's father was Andrew (Andries) Emmans (Emans) and her mother was Sarah Van Duyn. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Emmans (Emans) and Teuntje Van Dyck; her maternal grandparents were William Van Duyn and Sybrech Verkerk. She was an only child. She died at the age of 84 in 1837 in Pleasant Run New Jersey.-
