Joktan (Yoktan) ben was born in 2246 BC. Joktan (Yoktan) ben's father was Patriarch Eber (Heber) ('Aybar) ben Salah ben Cainan. His paternal grandparents were King Salah (Sala) ben Cainan ben Arphaxad and Muak (Mu'ak) bint Kesed ben Arphaxad. He had five brothers named Peleg (Phaleg) (Pelez) (Phalee) ben, Kaber ben, Associates of Patriarch, AKA Patriarch and AKA Patriarch. He died in Mesha, unto Sephar a mount of the east.General Notes
