Joan "of Acre" of was born in 1272 in (Acre), Akko, Hazafon, Israel.  Joan "of Acre" of's father was Edward I "Longshanks" King Of ENGLAND and her mother was Leonor Princess Of CASTILE AND LEON QUEEN OF ENGLAND.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III King Of ENGLAND and Eleanore Countess Of PROVENCE QUEEN OF ENGLAND; her maternal grandparents were Fernando III "The Saint" King Of CASTILE AND LEON and Jeanne De DAMMARTIN COUNTESS OF PONTHIEU. She had four brothers and eleven sisters, named John Prince Of, Alphonso Prince Of, Edward II King Of, Henry Prince Of, Eleanor Princess Of, Joan Princess Of, Juliana Or Katherine Princess Of, Isabel Princess Of, Margaret Princess Of, Berengaria Princess Of, Mary Princess Of, Alice Princess Of, Elizabeth Princess Of, Beatrice Princess Of and Blanche Princess Of. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas "of Brotherton" Prince Of, Edmund "of Woodstock", John and Eleonor Princess Of.  She died in Clare, Suffolk, England.  She was buried on April 26th, 1307 in Austin Friars' Church, Clare, Suffolk, England.
