Jim Hazard has :
"Thomas del Feld paid heriot in 1350 on a house and 12 acres at Sowerby "after the death of Adam his father." Had a dispute in 1357 with Rich del Leighrod. In 1361 surrendered to the lord a house and 16 acres at Sowerby, and took back the same, with "Matilda his wife." In 1370, Isabella, daughter of Rich de Leghrode, dec, took land from him. Referred to in the rolls in 1384 and 1391.1
