Isabel (Maude) Deincourt 
Isabel (Maude) was born about 1270 in Blankney, Lincolnshire, England. Isabel (Maude)'s father was Edmund 1st Baron Deincourt , 8th Lord D'Eyncourt and her mother was Isabel de Mohun. Her paternal grandparents were John II Deincourt , 7th Lord D'Eyncourt and Agnes de Neville; her maternal grandparents were Reynold II de Mohun , Lord of Dunster, Sir and Isabel de Ferrers. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Margaret. She was the oldest of the three children. She died before May 29th, 1348 in Emley, Wakefield, Yorkshire, England.General Notes
Sir William FitzWilliam (the subject of this article), was executor of his father's will in 1294, and was dead in 1342. He apparently married twice, (1) Maude, dead in 1324, and (2) Isabel Deincourt, who died 1348, apparently s.p. [Complete Peerage V:518 Note]
Note: The above has a 1st wife Muade, mother of his children. However the latest research, to be published in Edition 3 of Plantagenet Ancestry, has only 1 wife, Isabel Deincourt, sometimes referred to as Maude (see notes under William). That citation says of the above text "invents ficticious 1st wife Maud, misconstrues the settlement of 1324."
