He [Reynold de Mohun] married, 2ndly, in or before 1243, Isabel, the childless widow of Sir Gilbert BASSET, and daughter of William (DE FERRERS), EARL OF DERBY, by his 1st wife (to whom she was coheir), Sibyl, daughter and eventually coheir of William (MARSHAL), EARL OF PEMBROKE. He died 20 January 1257/8, at Tor Mohun in Devon, and was buried at Newenham in front of the high altar, on the left-hand side.
