Aubrey II was born about 1082 in Hedingham, Essex, England.  Aubrey II's father was Alberic "The Monk" De Vere and his mother was Beatrice de Ghent.  His paternal grandparents were Alphonso De Vere Comte De Ghisnes and Katherine of Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Henri Castellan De Ghent and Sybilla Manasses Comtesse De Ghisnes. He had a sister named Athelaise.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died on May 15th, 1141 in London, Middlesex, England-slain in a popular tumult.

‌Aubrey II and Adeliza were married in a religious ceremony about 1102 in Suffolk, England.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Aubrey III, Robert, Rohese, Juliane, Alice, Felice and Alice.
