Manasses was born in 0972.  Manasses' father was Comte De Guisnes Gallus Guillaume De Vere Comte De Guisnes and his mother was Gerbrudis De Cleremont.  His paternal grandparents were Comte De Guisnes Amelius De Vere Comte De Guisnes and Helene De Blois.  He was an only child.  He died about 1039.
