Edmund De Mortimer 
Edmund was born in 1310 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England. Edmund's father was Roger De Mortimer II Baron Mortimer and his mother was Joan De Geneville. His paternal grandparents were Edmund De Mortimer Lord Wigmore and Margaret De Fiennes; his maternal grandparents were Peter De Geneville Baron Geneville Of Trim and Joan De Lusignan. He had seven sisters named Agnes, Margaret, Blanche, Joan, Catherine, Beatrice and Maud. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 21 in 1331.General Notes
Edmund was summoned to Parliament as Lord Mortimer Nov. 20, 1331. His lordship married Elizabeth, one of the daughters and co-heirs of Bartholemew, Lord Badlesmere of Ledes Castle, in Kent, and by her had an only surviving son, his successor in 1331.
