Joan was born in Ludlow, Shropshire, England. Joan's father was Peter De Geneville Baron Geneville Of Trim and her mother was Joan De Lusignan. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey de Geneville Lord of Genville and Maud de Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De Lusignan XII Count of Marche and Jeanne De FougËres. She was an only child. She died on October 19th, 1356.-
