Isabel was born in 1040.  Isabel's father was Count of Rochefort Guy I De Montlhery Count of Rochefort and her mother was Hodierne De Gometz-La-Ferte.  Her paternal grandfather was Thibault Seigneur De Monthlery; her maternal grandfather was Sire De Bures Guillaume Seigneur De Gommets Sire De Bures. She had two brothers and a sister, named Milon I "Le Grand", Guy II and Melisande.  She was the second youngest of the four children.


Isabel's first family with Walter (Gauthier) De Saint Valery

‌Isabel and Walter (Gauthier) De were married in a religious ceremony about 1064 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England.  They had a son named Bernard III De.


Isabel's second family with Comte De Edessa Josceline II Seigneur De Courtenay Comte De Edessa

They had a son named Milo.
