Thomas De Monthermer 
Thomas was born in 1232. Thomas' father was Baron Ralph Baron Ralph de Monthermer Earl of de Monthermer and his mother was Joan Princess of England. His maternal grandparents were John Lackand I King of England and Isabella De Taillefer of AngoulÍme. He had a brother named Edward. He was the older of the two children.General Notes
Thomas de Monthermer, eldest son, was constantly in military service of the crown, and his name does not therefore occur in the enrollment of the summonses to Parliament. He was killed in a fight on the sea with the French, leaving by Margaret ....., his wife, an only daughter and heiress, Margaret.
