Waleran IV was born in 1104 in Meulan, Ile De France, France. Waleran IV's father was Earl of Leicester Robert De Beaumont Earl of Leicester and his mother was Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois. He had a brother and four sisters, named Robert "Bossu", Isabel Elizabeth, Adeline, Alice and Maud. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Rainald, William III, Maud (Amicia) and Gundred (Adelaide). He died at the age of 62 on April 10th, 1166 in Abbey De Preaux, Normandy, France.-
