His paternal grandparents were John Danvers and Alice Verney; his maternal grandparents were John Langston and Elizabeth Grimsby. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Mr., Margery and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died on January 12th, 1514.
