William Of Derby And Ferrers was born in 1162 in Ferrers, Derbyshire.  William Of Derby And Ferrers' father was 3rd Earl/ Walkelin Of Derby DE FERRERS and his mother was Sibyl DE BRAIOSE.  His paternal grandfather was Henry FERRERS. He had three sisters named Agatha, Millicent and Petronilla. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry Of Derby, Robert Of Eggington & Radbourne, Gundred and Isabell.  He died at the age of 85 on September 22nd, 1247.
