Agatha was born in 1168.  Agatha's father was 3rd Earl/ Walkelin Of Derby DE FERRERS and her mother was Sibyl DE BRAIOSE.  Her paternal grandfather was Henry FERRERS. She had a brother and two sisters, named William Of Derby And Ferrers, Millicent and Petronilla. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry Of Derby, Robert Of Eggington & Radbourne, Gundred and Isabell.
