Jacobus was born on March 9th, 1642 in New Amsterdam, Montgomery, NY. Jacobus' father was Jockem Colyer (Collier) and his mother was Magdalene Waele. His paternal grandparents were Mr Colyer (Collier) and Mrs Colyer (Collier); his maternal grandparents were Michiel Waele and Annetje Waele. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jurien, Michiel, Jacobus, Annetje and Dorothea. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in Died Young, New York City New York Co. New York.-
