Adeliza De was born in 1228 in Gloucestershire, England.  Adeliza De's father was Gilbert De Clare Earl Gloucester & Hertford and her mother was Isabel Marshal [Countess Of Cornwall]. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard De, William De, Gilbert De, Avicia De, Isabel De and Agnes De.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
