William de CLARE Sir

William de was born on May 18th, 1228 in Gloucestershire, England.  William de's father was Gilbert de CLARE EARL OF GLOUCESTER and his mother was Isabel MARSHALL. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Richard de, Gilbert De, Joan De, Maud De, Susan De, Avicia De, Amica De, Isabel De, Adeliza De and Agnes De.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named John of, Henry of, Isabella of and Nicholas of.  He died in Retherford.  He was buried on July 23rd, 1258 in Dureford Abbey.
