Richard De was born in 1186 in London, Middlesex, England.  Richard De's father was Richard De CLARE EARL OF HERTFORD and his mother was Amice FITZROBERT COUNTESS OF GLOUCESTER. He had a brother and three sisters, named Gilbert de, Maud (Matilda) De, Isabel De and Joane De.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 42 on March 4th, 1228 in London, Middlesex, England.
