Richard Butler , of Knocktopher, Sir

Richard was born about 1394 in Knocktopher Castle, Arklow, Wicklow, Ireland. Richard's father was James Butler , 3rd Earl of Ormond and his mother was Anne de Welles. He had a brother named James. He was the younger of the two children.
