Elizabeth Butler 
Elizabeth was born in 1420 in Kilkenny Castle, Kilkenny, Irela. Elizabeth's father was James Butler , 4th "The White" Earl of Ormond and her mother was Joan Beauchamp. Her paternal grandparents were James Butler , 3rd Earl of Ormond and Anne de Welles; her maternal grandparents were William Beauchamp , KG, Lord Bergavenny, Sir and Joan FitzAlan. She had two brothers named James and Thomas. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 53 on September 8th, 1473 in Shrewsbury Abbey, Shropshire, England.General Notes

He [John Talbot] married, before March 1444/5, Elizabeth, daughter of James (BUTLER), 4th EARL OF ORMOND [IRL], by his 1st wife, Joan, daughter of William (BEAUCHAMP), LORD ABERGAVENNY. He died 10 July 1460, being slain (with his brother Sir Christopher Talbot) at the battle of Northampton, fighting on the Lancastrian side, and was buried (with his mother) in Worksop Priory. M.I. His widow appears to have intended to take the veil after his death, but she had a Royal licence to marry whom she pleased without impeachment or hindrance, 6 February 1463/4.
