Matilda (Maud) de Braose 
Matilda (Maud) de was born about 1146 in Bramber, Sussex, England. Matilda (Maud) de's father was William II de Braose , 1st Baron of Abergavenny and her mother was Bertha de Gloucester , Heiress of Brecon. She had a brother and three sisters, named William III 5th Baron de, Sybil de, Bertha de and Susan Maud de. She was the oldest of the five children.
