Her paternal grandparents were 1st Baron Of Gwentland William II De William De 1st Baron Of Gwentland/Braose and Heiress Of Brecon Bertha De Bertha De Heiress Of Brecon/Pitres. She had thirteen brothers and six sisters, named Roger De, Robert De, Thomas De, William IV The Younger De, Giles De, Walter De, Reginald De, Hugh De, Henry De, Bernard De, Fulk De, Phlilp De, John De, Flandrina De, Matilda De, Joan De, Laurette De, Margaret De and Leuca De.
