Anne le was born about 1278 in Wem, Salopshire, England. Anne le's father was William le Boteler , Sir and her mother was Angharad verch Gruffudd. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph le Boteler , Lord of Oversley and Maud Pantulf , Heiress of Wemme; her maternal grandparents were Gruffudd ap Madog , Prince of Powys and Emma de Audley. She had a brother named William 1st Baron le. She was the younger of the two children. She died in 1340.General Notes
