William de was born about 1312 in Caldecot, Northamptonshire, England.  William de's father was Humphrey VIII de Bohun , Earl Hereford & Essex and his mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet , Princess of England.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey VII de Bohun , Earl Hereford & Essex and Maud de Fiennes; his maternal grandparents were Edward I Plantagenet "Longshanks" King O England and Eleanor Princess of Castile. He had two sisters named Eleanor de and Margaret de.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died on September 16th, 1360 in Caldecot, Northamptonshire, England.
