Maud (Mary) was born about 1080 in Belvoir Castle, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England.  Maud (Mary)'s father was [Earl Of East Anglia & Norfolk] Roger Bigod [Earl Of East Anglia & Norfolk] and her mother was Heiress Of Belvoir Adeliza (Alice) De Adeliz De Heiress Of Belvoir/Toeni.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Bigod and Miss St. Saveur; her maternal grandfather was (Lord Of Belvoir) Robert De Robert De (Lord Of Belvoir)/Sheriff Of Staffordshire/Toeni. She had a brother and four sisters, named Hugh, Maud, Cecily, Gunnora and Jane.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugh and Jane.  She died before 1136 in England.
