Thurstan De Bastembough 
Thurstan De was born about 0860 in Normandy , France. Thurstan De's father was (Jarl Of The Uplands) Eystein "The Chatterer" Glumru Ivarsson (Jarl Of The Uplands) and his mother was Ascrida (Aseda) Ragnvaldsdottir. His paternal grandparents were Jarl Of Norway Ivar I Oplaendinge Halfdansson Jarl Of Norway and Miss Eysteinsdatter; his maternal grandfather was Rognvald Olafsson. He had four brothers and a sister, named Sigurd, Malahule (Haldrick), Rognvald "The Wise", Sigurd I and Swanhild. He was the youngest of the six children.
