Aline Basset 
Aline was born about 1184 in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Aline's father was Alan Basset , Lord of Wycombe and her mother was Aline de Gai. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Basset , of Headington and Adeliza (Alice) de Dunstanville; her maternal grandparents were Philip de Gai , of Wooton Basset & Northbrook and Sedzilia (Cecily) de Berkeley. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Philip, Gilbert, Hawise, Alice and Katherine. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died after 1224 in Linton Manor, Bromyard, Herefordshire, England.General Notes
