William de BRAOSE 
William de was born about 1142 in Bramber, Sussex, England. William de's father was William de BRAOSE, 1st Baron of Abergavenny SHERIFF OF HEREFORD and his mother was Bertha De GLOUCESTER. His paternal grandparents were Sir Philip de BRAOSE and Aenor De TOTNAIS; his maternal grandparents were Miles fitzwalter EARL OF HEREFORD and Sybil de NEUFMARCHE Countess of Hereford. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Reginald De, PHILLIP, Roger De, John De, Giles De, Matilda De, Sybil de, Isabel De, Gillian De, Miss De, Engeram De, Joan Alicea and Bertha De. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died on August 9th, 1211 in Corbeil, Marne, France. He was buried on August 10th, 1211 in France.-
