Margaret d' Avranches , Heiress of Chester

Margaret d' was born about 1054 in Avranches, Normandy, France.  Margaret d''s father was Richard le Goz Viscount d' Avranches and her mother was Emma de Conteville. She had three brothers and a sister, named Hugh "Lupus" d', Albert de, Turstin of and Judith d'.  She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Albreda le Goz d'.

‌Margaret d' and Ranulph le were married in a religious ceremony about 1069 in Normandy, France.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Ranulph le, William le and Matilda le.
