Aaron ben was born in 1574 BC in Egypt. Aaron ben's father was Amram (Amran) (Imran) ben Koath ben Levi and his mother was Jochebed (Yokhebed) bint Levi ben Jacob. His paternal grandfather was Koath (Kohath) (Caath) (Kehath) (Kothath) (Korath) ben Levi ben Jacob; his maternal grandfather was Descendants of (Kohen) Levi ben Jacob. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Moses ben, Shubael ben, Associates of, AKA, AKA, Miriam bint, AKA and Associates of. He died in 1452 BC in Mount Hor, Land of Canaan, at 123 years old.General Notes
Aaron means "bright". A fluent speaker, he was appointed by God to gowith Moses and do th e talking for his tongue-tied brother. He shared theresponsibilities of leading the childre n of Israel from captivity inEgypt, even propping up Moses' arm during a battle with Amalek t o helpinspire the Israelites to victory. Moses took Aaron and other leaders upMount Sinai, an d appointed him and his family to the priesthood.
