Priest Ithamar ben Aaron ben Amran 
Ithamar ben's father was Prophet Priest Aaron ben Amran ben Koath and his mother was Elisheba (Elisheva) bint Amminadab ben Aram. His paternal grandparents were Amram (Amran) (Imran) ben Koath ben Levi and Jochebed (Yokhebed) bint Levi ben Jacob; his maternal grandfather was Amminadab (Aminadav) (Aminadab) ben Aram ben Hezron. He had six brothers named Eleazar ben, AKA Prophet Priest, Abihu (Avihu) (Abiku) ben, Associates of Prophet, Descendants of and Nadab (Nadav) (Nedad) ben.General Notes
Aaron's youngest son by Elisheba, Ithamar and his 2 brothers, Nadab andAbihu, were appointe d priests by Moses at the same time that Aaron wasappointed. After Nadab and Abihu died fro m dabbling in strange cults,Ithamar was responsible for the tabernacle during the wildernessw anderings. In succeeding generations Ithamar's descendants played keyparts in Israel's histo ry as guardians of the Ark, high priests, andpriests in the Temple. (Everyone in the Bible , by William P.
