Luitfrid III Count of Upper Alsace

Luitfrid III Count of Upper was born about 0798 in Tours, France.  Luitfrid III Count of Upper's father was Hugues II "Le Mefiant" of , Count of Tour Bourges.  His paternal grandfather was Luitfrid II Count of Upper of Alsace. He had a brother and two sisters, named Torquat (Tortulfe), Ermengarde , Countess of Tours and Bertha.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died about 0798.

He had a biological daughter named Ermengarde , Countess of Tours.
