Matilda De was born about 1153 in Belvoir Castle, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England.  Matilda De's father was Lord Of Belvoir William "Le Breton" De Albini Lord Of Belvoir and her mother was Maud Fitzrobert De Caen [Countess Of Chester.  Her paternal grandmother was Heiress Of Belvoir Cecily Cecily De Heiress Of Belvoir/Bigod; her maternal grandparents were 1st Earl Of Gloucester Robert "The King's Son" Robert 1st Earl Of Gloucester/1st Earl Of Gloucester/Robert and [Countess Of Glo Maud Fitzhamon [Countess Of Glo. She had a brother named William De.  She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Richard De, Hugh De Meschines Earl Of, Alice De, Johanna De and Beatrix De Gernons.  She died after 1210 in Strathearn, Perthshire, Scotland.
