Maud of Chester

Maud was born in 1163 in Cheshite, Eng. Maud's father was Hugh de Kevelioc and her mother was Bertrade de Montfort. Her paternal grandparents were Ranulf de Meschines and Matilda of Gloucester. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Ranulph, Nichola, Amicia, Matilda, Agnes, Hawise and Helga. She was the oldest of the eight children.
