Hawise de Meschines

Hawise was born in 1180 in Chester, Eng. Hawise's father was Hugh de Kevelioc and her mother was Bertrade de Montfort. Her paternal grandparents were Ranulf de Meschines and Matilda of Gloucester. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Ranulph, Nichola, Maud, Amicia, Matilda, Agnes and Helga. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
